For a long long time I considered myself a solely portrait photographer. I was (I am!) mesmerised by the perfect beauty of the human face and the vast variety of emotions it can express.
But I have to say: weddings and wedding photography are most definitely growing on me.
And of course! How could they not?

All the flowers, the balloons, the hats, the cake, the rings, the dress! I love photographing the little details the bride spent so much time and energy planning, making sure they are just perfect.
WEDDINGS ARE AT AMAZING VENUES
Majestic churches, windy seasides, elegant ballrooms, country houses, quirky castles… the ZOO!! Need I say more?
WEDDINGS ARE FUN
Now, I am definitely not a party animal myself, but great music and all the joy and happiness is infectious.
WEDDINGS ARE FULL OF EMOTIONS
I capture intimacy during the vows, joy during confetti, tears and laughter during the speeches (and yes, I am one of those who totally tears up too every.single.time), smiles, hugs and kisses all day long.
JUST LOVE.
I love a great love story, and of course weddings are definitely that. And it’s wonderful that I can be there to document it.
So I think what I’m trying to say is that I like shooting weddings. And I wouldn’t mind if I had more opportunities to do that.
