Whitbourne Hall is a private residence (on the Worcestershire / Herefordshire border) which only allows events a couple of times a year, which made Lucy and Simon’s elegant summer wedding all the more special and exclusive. The architecture of the building is amazing and served as a perfect backdrop for the perfectly planned details of the day.

Lucy decided to get ready at home, in her mum’s house with her bridesmaids, where I got to photograph all the carefully planned details – her wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses, accessories and the gorgeous navy blue Oscar de la Renta shoes!

The ceremony took place in a charming little local church, and Lucy walked down the aisle with her granddad – needless to say, the morning was pretty emotional for all involved.

Lucy and Simon emphasised from the very first consultation just how important capturing these special memories, and having a great selection of beautiful wedding photos is to them, so I guided them with the schedule of the day to make sure we had enough time for the various group photos as well as their couples photoshoot.

This is what Lucy said about what it was like to work with me:

“We had the pleasure of Viktoria shooting our August wedding in the Worcestershire countryside.
From the moment I contacted her, I knew she was perfect for us. She was so kind and accommodating to my endless lists and demands.
Her style is timeless and the details, emotions and memories she captured for us is beyond everything I wanted and more. I spent 4 years planning our wedding day and looked at a lot of photographers in that time but Viktoria stood out by a country mile! I wanted someone to capture the love and give us photos to treasure forever without us or our family posing for cheesy shots all day.
Her calm nature was exactly what every bride needs on her wedding day and she even went as far as helping out with things throughout the day such as fixing buttonholes and finding bottle openers!
Our engagement shoot was also a brilliant opportunity to get to know Viktoria some more and we instantly relaxed and got some shots that really helped us know what to do on our big day.
I look back at our photos now and fall a little bit more in love with them every time.”
