Hello hello. I’m back! I’ve been away from this place for way too long. It’s been a crazy year, but I hope things are going well for you, despite everything. Things are very different in the world – and things are very different in my little world as well.
Becoming a mother changed me in many ways:
* my priorities are different
* my concept of time is different
* my idea of perfection is different
* I understand the need of self-care better
* I am craving more quiet simplicity
* and to be close to nature.
These changes will definitely reflect in my work going forward- even if I’m not entirely sure in what way or form that will be.
What I do know for sure is that the core of what I offer will remain the same:
STILL working towards empowering women
STILL working to get mothers in front of the camera
STILL promoting body positivity
STILL promoting heirloom images
STILL finding beauty everywhere.
SO, HOW CAN I ACTUALLY HELP YOU RIGHT NOW?
OUTDOOR PORTRAITS – With the ‘stay at home’ rule ending on the 29th of March, we can start to socialise outside – meaning we can also shoot outside!
STUDIO PORTRAITS – While I don’t have my own studio at the moment, commercial premises can re-open starting the 12th of April, which is the date we can get back to my signature studio portraits in rented spaces.
BOUDOIR – Boudoir sessions in a studio setting will be available from the 12th of April as above. If you would like a hotel session at the fabulous Berwick Lodge, they will be re-opening from the 17th of May.
WEDDINGS – While weddings are still very restricted right now (to 15 people at the moment, going up to 30 guests from 12th of April), they will hopefully get back to normal from the middle of June… I don’t normally shoot a lot of weddings a year (I prefer to keep my weekends for myself and my family), but I decided to make an exception this year. I know that a lot of couples had to cancel or postpone their weddings, which unfortunately might mean that some of their photographers are not available on their new dates anymore. So if you are (or know) one of those couples – I WOULD LOVE TO HELP.
