I believe a big part of photography is about trust. I’m not just talking about the trust of being able to take beautiful images, but also about your trust in me as a person. Photographs capture not just your outside beauty but also a piece of who you are – your soul, your personality… and you have to trust me to see these little details and to be able to show them through my imagery. So because I would like you to know me better, here are some random facts about me:

I learned Japanese at university. It wasn’t exactly planned, but the language and culture quickly grown on me, I even attended a Japanese speech contest.

I’m an ‘imaginary’ gardener. I love flowers and greenery and beautiful gardens (I even thought about becoming a garden designer!) and one time I would love to have my own. But in reality? I’m struggling to keep my houseplants alive…

I love ‘walking-talking’ movies. The ones where there is no real action, the main characters just talk and talk and talk about thoughts and feelings. Perfect example is my all time favourite ‘Before Sunrise‘ with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy.

I always thought I was a summer person, but recently I realised I love snow.

I love getting postcards, so whenever I travel I always buy them for friends and family, though most of the time I forget to actually post them.
