Love pears, and lace and all kinds of beautiful vintage things? Oh, how about cake…?

And I know just the place to visit when I feel like I need an extra fill of pretty.
Heartfelt Vintage is run by the lovely Kate and her husband Will, and it’s the perfect combination of vintage fashion, jewellery, formal wear, lacy – feathery wedding dresses… mixed with a tea room. Sounds like heaven, right?
Each gorgeous piece is handpicked by Kate, they stock everything from 1900s -1980s, and quite often true gems too. (I kinda fell in love with a sparkly green dress when I was there last time, I secretly hope it’s still might be there and I can convince Kate to lend it to me for a photoshoot…) She also works with local, vintage-inspired designers who create unique, limited edition pieces what you can’t find on the high street.
Aaah, and the wedding dresses! If you are planning a vintage inspired wedding, you simply have to visit this place! Obviously all the dresses are completely unique and one-of-a-kind, with their own story and history. Kate and her team also offer alterations, and if you can’t find what you were looking for, they will also try to create the perfect dress for you!
Will takes care of the tea room – he creates fresh, simple, old-fashioned food, from scratch as much as possible: bread, scones, cakes are all made in house, along with their chutneys, mayonnaise and clotted cream!
